It seems that Hilda's mother is finally starting to enjoy herself, and Hilda takes a moment to banter with her. Five-Second Foreshadowing: Near the end of a long journey, Hilda and Johanna are scaling a tall cliff.Extra-Long Episode: The episode exceeds the usual 22-minute time limit, extending to 30 minutes.It is not only an emotional way to close the episode but it really hits closer to fans that had stuck with Hilda since the beginning of the series. Hilda then cries harder and runs away from her mother. Seeing this, Johanna is worried and approaches her with an outreached hand, intending to comfort her. Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Right after Hilda says the quote above, she tears up and looks away.Its impact isn't directly shown, but it does not land in the river. Disney Villain Death: Twig and Hilda manage to trick the wolf into falling off a cliff into the ravine.Bella Ramsey was actually crying while she was recording her dialogue. Break the Cutie: Hilda has a severe massive breakdown over everything that has changed and breaks down crying.While they failed at first, they succeeded in the end because they have brought Twig this time around.
